As part of our team you will become specialized in AUT, ultrasonic phased array applications, TOFD, advanced sizing techniques and data interpretation.

Available Positions

Eclipse Scientific is currently seeking individuals with an NDT field service background for local and international projects.  To qualify as a candidate you must share our vision of providing the client with the best value through the skilled use of inspection technologies.  We are constantly pushing the limits of NDT technology through development of innovative approaches to complex inspection applications.  Extensive engineering, IT, and NDT technical support combined with constant investment in the latest equipment enables Eclipse to offer the opportunity for significant professional development and career enhancement.

Qualifications, capabilities, and experience should include:

  • Any of the following certifications:  CGSB, CSWIP, PCN Level 2 TOFD, UT, ET
  • Application of ultrasonic phased array inspection, advanced eddy current testing
  • Familiarity with any of the following software:  UTEX: InspectionWare, Winspect.  Olympus NDT: TomoView, PipeWizard, OmniScan, MultiView  Zetec:  UltraVision, EddyNet.  AGR Technology Design.  EXTENDE: CIVA. Eclipse Scientific:  ESBeamTool
  • Preferred experience within the following industries:   power generation, downstream oil and gas, mining and heavy industry
  • Development and implementation of procedures, techniques and scan plans
  • Ability to acquire and analyze complex AUT/ET data
  • Above average reporting and organizational skills using Word and Excel
