The ESNozzleScanner is a manual rotary scanner used for the inspection of nozzle saddle welds on tanks and vessels. This Eclipse Scientific scanner can accommodate nozzles with an inner diameter between 8” and 10”. The scanner is outfitted with axial support clamps and stainless steel brake shoes which work in unison to stabilize the spring mounted probe for high accuracy scans.

Calibration and Setup Blocks

Custom made nozzle cutouts will match your specified requirements. Accurately machined targets calibrate the nozzle to provide operators with known flaw responses, complete with drawing specification package showing flaw dimensions and positions.
